Four years after One Piece Film: Red, One Piece Day ’26 announced two films at once.

ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY — summer 2027

The headline announcement: a new theatrical film titled ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY, releasing in summer 2027 in Japanese theaters. The timing is deliberate — it lands in the middle of the manga’s 30th-anniversary celebrations (the series debuted in July 1997). Eiichiro Oda is attached to the production, as fans would expect for a flagship film.

God Valley is a major location in the series. We are keeping this spoiler-free. If you have not read that arc, the title will make more sense later.

ONE PIECE FILM BAAD — 2029

Then came a second film, ONE PIECE FILM BAAD, slated for 2029, introduced with a “super teaser.” Two films spanning 2027–2029 is a bigger theatrical plan than the series has run before.

The bigger picture

Film in summer 2027, live-action Season 3 in 2027, the manga’s 30th anniversary in 2027 — a busy year. Plan re-watches if you want to be current.
