ONE PIECE Fest Sells Out in Los Angeles — a First for North America — onepiece.media

The first ONE PIECE Fest ever held in North America sold out. Toei Animation brought the festival format to COSM Los Angeles on August 25–26 (after a VIP preview night on the 24th), with tickets distributed by advance lottery — and every seat claimed, per Animation Magazine’s coverage and Forbes.
What made it different: COSM’s wraparound dome screen turned the event into an immersive show rather than a convention hall — One Piece sequences on a dome, plus stage programming across two sessions each day. It is the first time Toei has exported its fan-festival format (the kind Japan gets around One Piece Day) to the US as a ticketed, standalone production.
Why it matters: a sold-out first edition, months before THE ONE PIECE hits Netflix in February and Season 3 arrives in 2027, reads like a rehearsal for something bigger. If ONE PIECE Fest becomes a touring US institution — the way the Bandai Card Games Fest now spans eleven cities worldwide — it becomes a fixture on every American fan’s calendar. We have it on the events calendar and we will list the next edition the day Toei announces it.
