A scheduled quiet Sunday: Weekly Shonen Jump issue #40 is a break week for One Piece, so there is no new chapter on August 30. The series resumes in issue #41 with Chapter 1192 on Sunday, September 6 — the standard rhythm of roughly one break per month, listed in the Jump issue calendar rather than announced as news.

Why it matters: August was one of the densest months in franchise history — One Piece Day ’26, two new films, a new game, and the Card Game’s OP-17 all landed inside a fortnight — and the manga kept its weekly cadence through all of it. One scheduled breath before the final saga rolls on.

Where to read it right

Chapter 1192 publishes officially in English the moment Japan’s embargo lifts on September 6:

• Manga Plus by Shueisha — the latest three chapters free, same day
• VIZ / Shonen Jump — the full catalog with a subscription

The countdown at the top of this site now targets the September 6 date — official release time only, never a minute earlier, never a scan. Our release mechanics guide explains how break weeks work, and the final-saga primer keeps you current without spoilers.
